This will be my first time coming to Brimfield in May. Are there things other than just antiques?? I am interested in country primitive decor, candles, country crafts, warren kimble wall hangings....etc...Will I find things like this at reasonable prices?

This is my first time going also. Does this show resemble the Madison Bouckville Show. I just don't know what to expect. I never pay to go into a field at Bouckville so this is all new to me. HELP!

Hi Brenda and Mary.

Brimfield is unique, the largest outdoor antique show in the US... maybe the world. Brenda, you will find all the things you mentioned and more. Prices are reasonable... in fact, we know of some dealers who come empty-handed and buy-buy-buy on the first day of the show, taking things back to their own stalls to sell to the public. And its STILL a good deal! You can also get some really good deals if you pay cash... or go on a rainy day, or go on the last day of the show.... or the best of all worlds--- have all those things happen at once! Don't forget to bargain... it is expected, never take the first price. But if its something you really really want... don't delay or someone may steal it out from under you!

For Mary.... there are lots of fields to hit in the morning while the other fields are collecting entrance fees. Usually, by mid-afternoon, all fields have dropped their entrance fees, especially on Sat and Sun, as this is when most people come to the Show. If people refuse to enter the Promoters' fields because of the entrance fees... and the dealers suffer as a result, the promoters wind up hurting their dealers AND losing future business from them. So... our golden rule is to never pay and entrance fee. Do us all a favor and refuse to pay any entrance fees.

Good luck and enjoy!
Brad
