What's there to do in Brimfield/Sturbridge on Labor day while the vendors are moving in? I'm assuming early buying is not an option--or is it?? It's our first trip to the show!

Hi Adina - Welcome to New England......There are lots of things to do over Labor Day. Usually it's warm enough to swim. Old Sturbridge Village is open - you can see how folks around here lived in the early to mid 1800s. Lots of antique stores in the Sturbridge area. Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. Largest Labor Day parade in New England is in Marlboro, about 35 miles east of Sturbridge. Lots of nice restaurants in the area as well. It really is a very nice time of year in these parts. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy yourselves!
