Been to Brimfield 2 years in a row. Not much luck finding the "better" fruit jars. Are the any real collectors @ the show and if so, where are they located? Maybe I should be there on day 1 in May show? Help! |

Dear all, this is my first trip to BF antique show. I'm looking for a coffee table art deco style made of wood with mandatory silver or mirror accents. Would anybody offer any suggestion where should I start to look first? Many thanks. Mirela |

HR and Betty, Yes, there are many who deal in textiles and coins. Try searching the brimfieldshow.com dealer database for starters, at: http://www.brimfieldshow.com/cgi-local/webdata_brims how.pl?cgifunction=user |

This May I'm planning my first visit to the Brimfield show, although I've lived in Western Mass my whole life. I'm specifically looking for a stand for a Heisey punch bowl that belonged to my grandmother. I think it's the Colonial pattern. Also, I have a beautiful carnival glass bowl in the peacock and urn design that I would love to get appraised. Any suggestions? |

Hi Barbara, just a suggestion...you could also post your question in the free classifieds under "Looking for more Info On". Use this link: http://www.brimfieldshow.com/collectors-classified s-intro.htm The Classifieds get a lot of traffic... |

Can anyone direct me to somewhere that I can find a period style door chime, antique or reproduction, for a 1932 Dutch Colonial home? This has been impossible to find! Is this era indicative of the door chimes with brass tubes? WE are looking for the chimes that are displayed in a hallway or somewhere near the front door..... PLEASE HELP |

I have two asian/polynesian lamp bases. One is the head of a handsome man and the other is a beautiful lady. Red faces and hats with black hair and gold trim on the brims of their hats. Each are a foot tall and about 8 inches broad and 5 inches wide. They have a "mark" on the back of each which I am not sure of. There are no shades and the wiring has been taken out. Any interest or does anyone know where I could sell them in Los Angeles? |

Charles Dickens Commemorative pewter spoons. This message is for Linda Dukes question. It is by Franklin Mint, came with a wooden spoon holder with green velvet back. There are a total of 12. I'm trying to find out the worth for them, but no luck. I think they were created in 1981, based on the mark on the back of the spoons. I have the papers of authenticity also. Email me if you would like, at imopettibone@aol.com |

I have a three legged pie shaped table that has the original Mfg seal on bottom: Ferguson Bros Mfg Co Hoboken NJ Number 7968. Also the number 7968 is written in white chalk. I understand that they manufactured in Hoboken between 1898 and 1953. Can anyone give me an idea as to the value of this piece? It seems to be in very good condition. Thanks for your help |

I am planning to attend the May 2005 show as a customer, I have never been there before. I am wondering do I really want to be there from May 9 thru May 15 - or is that overdoing it? If I arrive on Monday May 9, will I have seen everything before the end of the show on May 15? Are there new dealers arriving every day? |

Hi Gary While there's lots to see (a mile long, and many, many yards deep on both sides of Rt20), It's probably too much to spend the entire run of the show there. Check the schedules; fields open on different days, while some are open every day. The show runs Tuesday through Sunday. You could get a pretty good dose of the show attending Wednesday through Friday - again look at the show schedules elsewhere on this website. If it's your first experience, welcome and enjoy yourself - also see Wayne's remarks about what to bring/wear and so on elsewhere on this website. |

Good morning! I have been making the trip to Brimfield every year for the past 15 years and I have always found plenty of treasures to bring home with me! This will be the first year that my 12 year old niece will be making the trip with me. She is an avid collector of Breyer horses and I wondered if anyone could recommend some dealers who might specialize in this area. I would love to help her narrow her search and enjoy some collecting success on this, her first trip! Thanks so much. Best regards, Holly |
