First time to Brimfield in Spring of 2006. Is there a field(s)better than another for finding/trading antique pocket knives and/or straight razors? Any advice welcome!!! We want our first trip to be a successful one!

The beauty of Brimfield is also its curse. There's stuff of all description on all fields. That said, if I were looking for knives and razors, I'd probably check the pavillions at NE Motel, where the dealers are apt to have "smalls"......but any dealer on any field is apt to have what you're looking for as well. The fun's in the hunt! Make sure you allow sufficient time to peruse all the fields. If you happen to see a geezer strolling with a banjo, stop me and say hi:-)

knowing my husband, he'll try to buy your banjo from you! He LOVES guitars and banjos too and anyone who can pick (and grin) as well! We can't wait to go! (Jamie and John - the Knife doctor)
